Death Jr: Root of Evil
Death Jr: Root of Evil is new adventure game that will available next week, today I would review some information about this new game. Experience life after death with Death Jr.: Root of Evil. Follow the Grim Reaper’s teenage son Death Jr. (aka DJ), and his school sweetheart Pandora, as they embark on a journey to free DJ’s captured father and complete their school science project at the same time. Camera and control schemes make the 19 levels of rich platform gaming delightful to navigate, while the active aim system and gesture commands add intensity to the action. Unlock new moves and combos using DJ’s famed scythe and Pandora’s whip, build and upgrade your own projectile weapons, and experience the rich world of Death Jr. There are Two Playable Characters – Play through the entire game as either Death Jr. or Pandora, or team up with a friend in the new local co-op mode. Discover new weapons, combat moves and storyline details playing as each character with seamless Action and 3D Platforming – 19 levels and over 45 different species of enemies deliver a great variety of action and platforming gameplay.
I think an overall more polished and rich experience tailored specifically for the Wii. Includes enhanced storyline presentation, enemy pacing, and improved user interface. You will enjoy with New Intuitive Camera and Control System – Two new simple control methods based on ranged and melee combat, and a full 3D camera makes for a cleaner, faster and more fun experience.

Nintendo Wii Thumps PS2’s Software Sales Record
Today Nintendo of America’s VP of sales and marketing Cammie Dunaway has announced that the Nintendo Wii has already sold over 50 million units of software since its launch (18 months ago) and that the figure is a new record. Dissecting sales figures can be a little like making sense of a gyrating Rubik’s Cube. By comparison, claims Nintendo, Sony only sold around 42 million its first 18 month at bat.
Microsoft’s Xbox 360 continues to outsell the Wii in year over year totals. That’s the case even if you count the 11.2 million “sales” of the system’s bundled Wii Sports game, which Nintendo keeps claiming (somewhat disingenuously, I say) as part of the deal.
In 2007 in the U.S., Microsoft undershot Nintendo by around 2.1 million in consoles sales, but in fact outsold Nintendo by a whopping 10.6 million in software sales. In 2008, Microsoft’s under Nintendo by about 1.2 million consoles, but still ahead (though less assuredly) by around a million in software units. We’ve yet to see the full extent of the impact Grand Theft Auto IV’s going to have on 2008’s numbers, but weekly sales have the 360 version alone handily beating Mario Kart Wii and Wii Sports as we roll through May. Add the Wii Fit and Ninja Gaiden 2 for the 360 to the mix and you’ve got an interesting summer looming.
On the other hand, you have to hand it to Nintendo for closing the distance with Microsoft so far this year, especially in the U.S. where Microsoft still retains the hardware install base edge, something it bragged about misleadingly last week. I guess turnabout’s fair play.

Indianapolis 500 Racing
The new game for this week, I would review is Indianapolis 500 Racing , which just available on 19 May 2008. Careen around the Indianapolis Motor Speedway in a hand-built 1960s speed machine that hits speeds of nearly 180 mph and rides only 7 inches off the ground. Survive a moving minefield of crashes, spinning cars, rolling tires, oil slicks and 32 rivals competing for the perfect racing line. Set from 1961-1971, a period of loose rules and ever-faster cars, Indianapolis 500 Legends lets players experience the traditions, rivalries, terrifying speeds and jaw-dropping maneuvers of the Brickyard as they take on the arcade-style gameplay. Enjoy Draft, dodge and strategically maneuver through packs of highly tuned vehicles. Assume the roles of 30 of the sport’s most daring real-life legends like Al Unser, A.J. Foyt and Parnelli Jones as they draft, dodge and slingshot on a track where speeds of up to 180 miles per hour defined racing’s frontier mentality. You can race at terrifying speeds in legendary vehicles. Experience crashes, upsets and thrills with mission-based racing that puts you in the middle of some of the Indy 500’s most famous and infamous moments. Drive the last of the front-engine roadsters; experiment with the first turbine cars or strap on the earliest sets of bolt-on wings. Rounding out the experience are pit stop mini-games that include changing tires and refueling. Players can also unlock historic Indy memorabilia. The missions are very addictive. High intensity racing made even more fun with using the Wii remote as the steering wheel, controls very responsive, and the AI is VERY good, I was cursing out the Clown Prince within 40 minutes of picking it up. A very different game packaged with a racing history lesson. Does justice to the Cathedral of Speed, any Wii owner who is a race fan MUST have this game in their collection just for the history alone, the excellent gameplay is just icing on the cake.

Wii Fit is releasing, For moms, Wii might have the perfect Fit
Today Nintendo is releasing Wii Fit what might be the first big-budget console game that can pull in that ever elusive segment: mothers.
Officially, Nintendo said Wii Fit, an exercise and health title, is designed for an “expanded audience.” But the game, which goes on sale today, has the potential to attract what some marketers have called the chief household officer, a large but mostly unreached population of potential gamers.
The game’s novel appeal is delivered through an electronic Wii balance board controller, sold in a bundle with Wii Fit for $90. The board, with multiple sensors, measures a player’s weight and turns steps and shifts in balance into moves on screen.
“Most people don’t enjoy working out, but we believe most people want to maintain a fit body and a healthy lifestyle,” said Denise Kaigler, vice president of corporate affairs for Nintendo. “Wii Fit addresses that dilemma, allowing you to get fit in a fun and convenient way.”
“Moms have the purchasing power in the house, and this is a game that will catch her attention,” Torres said. “Look at the way they’re marketing it. They’re not reaching out to hardcore gamers, who they know will want to get it, too, for the mini-skill games. They’re showing off these other aspects like yoga and step aerobics that will hook a mom.”
You can check it out at Discount Wii Fit Store
